Experience |
|
Mr. Cepican has extensive experience in patent, trademark and copyright matters. He has worked in diverse areas, for example telemarketing, with automatic audience survey systems and message delivery systems, and oil field technologies, with automated control systems for drilling and fluid handling. His physics background enables him to prepare applications in the area of optical communications, signal processing, spectroscopy, lasers, and solid state devices and computer hardware and software related inventions. Additionally, Mr. Cepican has broad experience in the area of copyrights, including software copyrights, representing authors and publishers, including software developers, value added resellers and dealers, in licensing and litigation matters, and in the area of trademark licensing and litigation, including franchise disclosure matters for both franchisors and franchisees. Mr. Cepican has served as counsel to an advertising trade association and has given guest lectures and seminars in the field of patents, copyrights and trademarks as related to advertising. |
